1. Provider and acceptance

The product is provided by self-employed individual Alexey Dmitrievich Kolunin, TIN 540865175021, Novosibirsk, Russian Federation. Contact: alex.kolunin@gmail.com. By creating an account, installing the software, or purchasing access, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. What the product provides

The Firefox extension displays formats available for a supported video. The separate Windows companion performs local processing and saves files on your computer. Format, quality, speed, and availability depend on the source, Firefox, yt-dlp, FFmpeg, your computer, and third-party service changes.

3. Authorized use only

You may download only content you own, public-domain content, or content you have permission or another legal right to save. You must comply with copyright law, applicable law, and source-platform terms. You may not use the product to bypass paid access, DRM, access controls, or technical restrictions, nor for infringement, abuse, resale of access, or automated attacks.

4. Accounts and Free access

You are responsible for accurate account information and protecting your credentials. Free accounts currently receive five completed downloads per rolling 24 hours, up to 720p, with one active download at a time. Limits may be adjusted to protect reliability or prevent abuse, with material changes reflected in product information.

5. Paid plans

Monthly and annual plans unlock Pro access for the paid period and renew automatically until canceled. Founder’s License is a one-time purchase for lifetime Pro access offered to the first 30 customers; “lifetime” means the commercially reasonable lifetime of this product, not the lifetime of the buyer. Credit packs provide the stated number of non-expiring Pro downloads and are finalized only after a completed download.

Prices, currency, taxes, and available payment methods are confirmed on the lava.top checkout page. A successful payment must be associated with the same email used for the extension account.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel future subscription renewals through lava.top. The already paid period remains available unless refunded. Refund requests are handled under the Refund & cancellation policy and mandatory consumer law.

7. Availability and updates

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may update the extension, companion, backend, supported formats, limits, or providers to maintain compatibility, security, or legal compliance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or the continued availability of a format provided by a third party.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for your use of downloaded content. We are not liable for source-platform changes, user infringement, loss caused by unsupported modification, or indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Independence and contact

Video Downloader for YT is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube, Google, Mozilla, Supabase, or lava.top. Questions and legal notices may be sent to alex.kolunin@gmail.com.
